Edificio 22 is a proposal for a residential building in El Poblenou, Barcelona. In a neighborhood shaped by the 22@ tech district and an ongoing debate about housing and the erosion of the city's character, the project proposes a residential block that engages with Barcelona's architectural tradition. The facade takes its language from Gaudí's La Pedrera. The curved volume, undulating balcony lines, and sculptural rooftop chimneys are adapted to the scale and program of contemporary housing.
