The Mediterranean Swimming Club is a conceptual project located on a site in Barcelona designated for sports facilities. Conceived as an open institution along the Nova Mar Bella waterfront, it is dedicated to swimming, resting, and gathering. Swimming is understood as a tactile, bodily experience closely tied to place, horizon, and the sea. The architecture is organized as a sequence of pools, baths, and terraces extending the coastal promenade, maintaining a continuous visual and physical relationship with the sea, and informed by Mediterranean bath cultures and civic seaside architecture.
